The Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk was a single-seat, twin-engine stealth ground-attack aircraft formerly operated by the United States Air Force (USAF). The F-117 became the first operational aircraft initially designed around stealth technology, and was commonly called the “Stealth Fighter” even though it was a ground-attack aircraft. The Air Force retired the F-117 in April 2008, primarily because of the fielding of the F-22 Raptor and the impending introduction of the F-35 Lightning II.

This handcrafted model is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail and makes a great gift for any veteran, aviation enthusiast or history buff.
