Produced between 1993 and 1998, the Hawker 1000 was a true transcontinental business jet, capable of carrying nine passengers while sipping fuel.
As great of a plane as the Hawker 1000 was, the company only built 52. The reason was that its little brother, the Hawker 800, with similar performance but a smaller price tag, outsold the 1000 by a rate of 2-to-1.
