This extraordinarily adaptable mount is capable of fastening to an extensive variety of base structures without the need for external tools of any kind.
Its adjustable grip, which features protective rubber pads, can expand & retract to accommodate both round/curved and flat surfaces of varying widths. To operate, just alter the tension with the unit’s integral knob until the Tough-Claw is firmly in place. Once secured, the item’s 1″ rubber ball serves as an attachment point for a variety of RAM articulating arms and cases/cradles (sold separately). Ideal for use on control yokes, struts, rails, support bars, glareshields, shelves, and much, much more. Fits rails/tubes from 5/8″-1 1/2″ and flat surfaces up to 1.14″.
