Boeing B-29 Superfortress Officially Licensed Aeroplane Apparel Co. Men’s T-Shirt
In March 1944, 600 Boeing workers at the Wichita factory worked round the clock for four weeks during bitter winter weather to get 175 B-29 Superfortress bombers ready for the war effort on time.
Known as the “Battle of Wichita,” this company legend shows how committed the women and men at Boeing were to winning World War II. The B-29 flew its first mission three months later, eventually playing a critical role in the Pacific Theater and ending the war entirely with the atomic bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Pay respect to the B-29, the brave men who flew them, and the dedicated tradespeople who built them with this officially licensed Boeing shirt from Aeroplane Apparel Company.
Produced under license from Boeing. Boeing, the distinctive Boeing logos, product markings, and trade dress are trademarks of The Boeing Company.
