Boeing™ PT-17 Stearman Limited Edition Large Mahogany Model
This beautiful PT-17 Stearman Mahogany Model is a faithful reproduction of the iconic biplane trainer used by the U.S. Army in the 1930s and 1940s. Also known as the Kaydet, more than 10,600 of these open-cockpit aircraft were built after its introduction in 1934, and it was the most frequently used trainer during World War II. After the war, thousands of these distinctive aircraft entered the civilian market and are used in airshows, cropdusting, and biplane instruction.
Sporting the classic blue fuselage and yellow wings and tail, the 1/24-scale PT-17 Stearman Mahogany Model features the Army star marking on its wings and the red-and-white Army stripes on its rudder. A thoughtful gift or addition to your collection-order today!
