Description
Bombardier Challenger 600 Limited Edition Large Mahogany Model
The original design for the Bombardier Challenger 600 came from a project called the LearStar 600. When Bombardier bought the design by Learjet founder Bill Lear, they kept the supercritical wing design but made several modifications including changing the tail to a T-tail.
The resulting long-distance, low-wing business jet was released in 1981. It featured a wide fuselage and standing-room cabin. The Challenger 600 was powered by two specially designed Lycoming ALF 502-L-2C turbofan engines producing 7,500 pounds of thrust each and had a range of 2,600 nautical miles.
This stunning Limited-Edition Bombardier Challenger 600 Large Mahogany Model is handcrafted from the finest mahogany wood. The high-quality design captures every detail of the Challenger 600. Your model includes a detachable wood display stand and arrives securely packaged in a foam fitted shipping box. It is a great gift for any pilot or aviation enthusiast.
