With its SkyPro XGPS160, Dual Electronics Corporation takes its highly capable XGPS150A model and adds even more awe-inspiring functionality. Unlike the vast majority of commercially available WAAS GPS receivers, this unit is also fully capable of receiving GLONASS (Russia’s version of GPS) satellite signals. Additionally, whereas the XGPS150A can only wirelessly connect with one device at a time, the SkyPro XGPS160 can simultaneously sync with up to 5 Bluetooth-enabled devices for multiple, independent use. On top of all that, the unit’s internal battery now lasts for over 10 hours per charge. The XGPS160 is a 99-channel unit with a 10-times-per-second position update rate for ultra-accurate, real-time position & movement info. Since it’s satellite based, you’ll never be at the mercy of Wi-Fi or 3G limitations. In fact, the SkyPro provides spot-on positional accuracy anywhere on the globe – it just needs an unobstructed view of the sky! Measures just .87″ x 2.2″ x 2.75″ and weighs only 2.6 oz.
