Gee Bee stands for Granville Brothers. They manufactured the infamous Model R racing aircraft from the 1930s that this clock is modeled after. The stubby Gee Bee was just 18 feet long, with a wingspan of 25 feet and a top speed of almost 300 mph.
This clock may not keep you “Stayin’ Alive” (stick to the Bee Gees for that one) but it will keep you stayin’ on time.
