Rather than spending hundreds of dollars on a dedicated GA airplane headset, this custom-designed adapter enables you to convert your low impedance dynamic military mic to the high impedance mic characteristic of civilian aircraft. Simply plug your military headset’s single U-174/U jack into the converter and connect the unit’s standard .25″(PJ-055) and .206 (PJ-068) headset jacks to the appropriate cockpit ports and you’re good to go.
