Wright Flyer “Kitty Hawk” (L) Mahogany Model
The Wright Flyer was the first powered aircraft, designed and built by the Wright brothers. They flew it four times on December 17, 1903 near Kill Devil Hills, about four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. It has been described as “…the first powered, heavier-than-air machine to achieve controlled sustained flight with a pilot aboard.”
This handcrafted model is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail and makes a great gift for any veteran, aviation enthusiast or history buff.
