WV-2 Willie Victor (EC-121M) Mahogany Model

The Lockheed EC-121 Warning Star was an airborne early warning radar surveillance aircraft, used by the United States Navy and United States Air Force. The EC-121 is a military version of the Lockheed Constellation, and was designed to serve as an airborne early warning system to supplement the Distant Early Warning Line.

This specific EC-121 model is the US Navy version: WV-2 “Willie Victor”. WV-2s were used in Barrier Force operations and as Hurricane Hunters until they were retired in the late 1970s.

This handcrafted model is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail and makes a great gift for any veteran, aviation enthusiast or history buff.
